Bus Schedule for Randalls Island - Saturdays only

THE INFORMATION BELOW IS CURRENT ONLY FOR OUR SPRING 2021 SEASON. WE WILL UPDATE IT FOR SPRING 2022 WHEN IT IS TIME.

On Saturdays, we run a free shuttle bus to/from Fields 60 and 61 on Randalls Island.

PLEASE READ IMPORTANT DETAILS BELOW. If you do not follow the guidance below, you will NOT be able to ride the bus.

 

Weekly Advance Sign-up Requirement

In order to have a proper count to order enough buses to allow social distancing, we will send out a form each Sunday for weekly bus sign-up, due each Wednesday by 6:00 p.m. If you sign up to take the bus but cancel after Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. or are a no-show, there will be a $20 late cancellation fee per player invoiced to your account. If you sign up after Wednesday at 6:00 p.m., we cannot guarantee that you have a spot.

Bus Volunteer

We are looking for bus monitor volunteers to check names while boarding so if you are planning to ride the bus and are willing, please let us know.

Bus Stops

  • Upper West Side: Southside of 96th street in front of Symphony Vets @ 170 W 96th Street, between Amsterdam and Columbus.  
  • Upper East Side: Southeast (Randall's-bound) and Northeast (Manhattan-bound) corner of 96th St and Lexington by the corner of the playground
  • Randall's Island Fields 60/61

COVID related details
Players must sit socially distanced (not in the same bench, unless in the same household) and parents must sit with their child. In accordance with our Covid-19 protocols and overall limitations on spectators, we are limiting parents to one per child for the bus and no siblings. If you have unusual circumstances or an emergency childcare situation, please email us, and we can try to work something out. Face coverings are required at all times on the buses, and windows will be cracked open for natural ventilation.
